À propos de ce blog

Blog

ABOUT THIS BLOG

From learning web coding to French language classes, Simplon 5th batch in Montreuil has to learn it all in just 7 months period.

However, this batch is unique in many ways in reference to it’s diversity of it’s students who came from 6 different countries and speak up to 30 different languages (spoken or programming languages). Despite diversity and differences they have, they all have one goal in common : become web developers and learn perfect French.

It consist of 14 members, 13 males and just one female who never felt alone as all of male members treat her as if she is their own sister. In fact, they are with asylum seeker or refugee status in France, but that literally just a line on a piece of paper due to official paperwork but in-short “They are just human with dreams and potentials”.

Depression, tension, enthusiasm and euphoria, all those mixed feelings and phases were their companion since the startup of the training on March 2016 in Simplon which can accompany any trainee regardless of their nationality or race or background but they have an extra feeling rather than others which is “Loneliness”. Some of them might show it and some might hide it deep inside them.

A feeling that occurred along their journey in exile here in France caused by language barrier fears and community acceptance but life has to go on and they must learn how to move on and that what they are trying to do.

This what brought us to this idea, to create a blog and virtual space to allow them share their feelings, experiences and knowledge they gain during their training in Simplon. A blog that will allow them share with you their time-line in Simplon and allow them to express themselves in even hesitated French but they are still happy to share it with you while driven by determination and strength.

Finally, additional to all what had been said, this blog is like a French exercise to them where they can advance their language skills. It might not looks that fancy blog which is written by two lines of coding but still is their virtual space fulfilled with freedom of expression and creativity beside learning and sharing.
